Structural Integration

What is Structural Integration (SI)

Is a type of bodywork that focuses on the fascial system. Structural Integration is designed to stretch, lengthen and soften these tissues to provide postural balance, ease of movement and feeling at home in your own body.

Benefits

  • Increase levels of energy and alertness

  • Decrease pain and postural holding patterns

  • Improve balance and resilience

  • Increase mobility

  • Improve athletic performance

  • Increase body awareness

  • Balance one's sense of inner and outer self

Typical Session

Series work is usually 3 to 12 sessions tailored to fit the goals and needs of the individual.  Each session will focus on balancing the postural and movement lines of the body as laid out in the Anatomy Trains mapping system.

You will need to come dressed in either a sports bra and shorts, bathing suit,  workout shorts or appropriate underwear to support the process of body reading.

You will be asked to participate through static and movement assessments to better understand your body's needs, and for you to observe and sense the changes in your body before and after each session.
